I have two boys. If I ever decided to remarry one day, I'm sure I'll want to try and have a girl.

I definitely kept going after 2 children. I kind of regret it, since the 3rd one told on me

I'm in your boat, only older. I'm 40 and we only have 1 child. My wife is trying to talk me into a 2nd.

Have 2, 14 months apart.

I'm good. Wife will want another. Not looking forward to that conversation.

Had my first two before age 20. A few years later me and my wife wanted a third and ended up with twin boys. One of the best moments of my life.

Same here. She wanted another girl, we had a little boy a few months back. I forgot about those first couple months and power napping through lunch instead of eating. Good news is he is sleeping through the night . Bad news is my beer and "fun" money now has a budget for diapers, formula, wipes, clothes, doctor appointments, extra $200 a month in insurance... The smile I get when he sees me walk in from work now that he is starting to recognize people makes all that seem trivial.

TL;DR. Kids aren't cheap, or easy, but the three little heathens of mine are by far the best thing I've ever done.

Let me start by saying that I know this is a terrible, terrible, terrible reason to have a third child, BUT...

We stopped at two and lost one of our sons and now I hate that my surviving son is essentially an only child. Not because of how that affected his childhood, but how it affects his adulthood. When we are gone, he's got nobody! Hopefully, he will have made a family for himself by then. And I've asked a couple of his cousins to make sure to include him on family stuff when we're gone.

We have 3 and I would love nothing more than to be able to have my own basketball team. We just want to be able to enjoy all of them in their events and for the unique kids they are. It does make a difference once you have 3 because then mom and dad are outnumbered. But you get used to it and then you don't mind how many friends they have over because you're just controlling chaos!

I have a 20 year old son, 10 year old daughter, and a set of twin boys due later this year. Oh, we'll both be 42 when they arrive. I'll report back then.

I have 3 children, but I feel the same way. My prayer is to see them become adults. My youngest is 4
I only have an older brother, and I'm the youngest of all my 1st cousins. When my kids become adults, most of the family they currently know will probably be deceased.

I have two and am going to get snipped later this week. Absolutely dreading having a needle stuck in my scrotum.

I have two young ones. No plans for a third. My fear was having twins for the second one so I cannot imagine wanting a third one.
