We had our first 3 between September 2007 and December 2010.
I regret nothing.

I'm going to go through with it, no doubt. Doesn't mean I am going to enjoy the process.

Should have stopped at 2 because of this.

we have three boys ages 5, 3 & 6 months. we do not regret it at all. We were trying for a girl but we love our little boy as you can imagine. I am convinced we are stopping, wife is not 100% sure except for when we have to pay daycare and private school tuition.
I will say its much harder to find a babysitter and overall another kid is another expense especially with the cost of daycare.
I will also say he has been the easiest just because we are so experienced but he has been the hardest to get to sleep through the night. But wouldnt trade it for the world.

We have 3. 7, 5, 10 months. Glad I didn't stop because I finally had a boy!! We are almost done with bottles and formula so that will be nice.
A fourth is not out of the question.

My wife and I just adopted a brother and sister. They are about to turn 2 and 1. We did not have any kids before. So the the big surprise, we found out about a month after we got them that my wife was pregnant and due in October. We are going from no kids to 3 under 3 in 8 months.
I wouldn't change a thing.

After dealing with infertility issues, we gratefully took whatever came our way. Number 3 was not planned, but she was (is) the best surprise I ever got.
As an infant she was probably the easiest of the three, but now that she's older she is definitely more stubborn, but also more determined, than the others. A bit feisty too!

@ 3 you are out numbered.

Not always, but I guess it depends on the family and maybe how much the youngest is allowed to "get away with"?
My husband is #3, and he's actually probably the easiest going in his family. Peace-maker, gets along with all, but also independent in his own way because his mom had to deal with his older siblings so she admits that less time was probably given to him. So in a way he got away with a lot, but he also learned how to take care of himself more than some people. (He's far from an addict, too!)

As a side note to this thread, remember when up to the late 60's / early 70's, 4 and 5 kid families were not uncommon? LOL....

You would've made a good dad, Owlie. Even if you are an a-hole sometimes.

I have a non-scientific theory that there are a lot of families with three daughters (which may or may not be true), and the reason for that is that every man wants to have at least one son. They have their first kid, girl, let's have another. Second kid is another girl. So they're willing to take one last shot to get a boy, and when they get another girl, they stop because the family is just getting too big and that was the last gamble.
