know two families with 3 boys each who would say this is true for the opposite sex as well. ?Moms really wanted that baby girl but eventually they had to stop trying.

That's how I got a younger brother.

I will say, having same gender siblings would help. All the hand me downs and sharing. Playing same sports so mom only has to drive to one thing.

We have two, I don't really want a third right now but I think in like 20 years I'll wish we had a bigger family so if it were up to me I'd probably have a third.

Wife doesn't want a third though so we will probably just be done at 2.

My family is blended. I have one biological daughter and 2 step kids(one boy, one girl). Honestly wouldn't change it for the world. 3 is the perfect number to me. The older two(5&4) love helping with the younger one(my 14 month old). Then again, I'm also open to a 4th. Would love to have a biological son as well. But until then, my step son is just like my little boy. He's grown to be a mirror image of me attitude wise. Loves to play outside, joke, and is a great protector of his sisters.

Our problem is the 3rd is the best of the 3 so far. But wife is fixed so no more, but she's plotting something...

We have identical twin boys. We are so afraid of a repeat that we decided to not have more. I like the fact that we have a matching set and our family feels complete.

I'm petrified of having twins on our second try. I bitch and moan about starting on the second one. I just can't look forward to adding another year or two onto having terrible sleep habits. I know it's a short term problem, but waking up every two hours was just 5 months ago

Sucker. You're outnumbered now. It gets harder to juggle activities and such
