Parents with 3 kids, are you glad you didn't stop at 2?

It seems like there are pros and cons to having 3 kids as opposed to stopping at 2. I've talked to some people who have 3 whose third child was very difficult compared to the first 2, and while they did not come out and say they regretted having the third child, I wonder if at times they really do. What sayeth the OT?

I have 2 and stopping for sure. They were too good to mess up on #3.

i'd imagine most decent parents wont regret having a child, they just might miss the freedom and ease of having less or no children

Had two boys, tried again and had a girl. I would have been happy to stop at two but the wife i think wanted to try for a girl. Now that we have her i couldn't imagine not. Makes many things harder mostly finding a sitter. Not to mention the $12k+ check i just cut for tuition

Seems to me like the 3rd child is always the one that ends up in and out of rehab

I'm pretty sure my mother and father would say that my younger brother (3rd child, all boys) was probably the easiest and most well rounded/less trouble than my older brother and then DEFINETELY me (middle boy)

I obviously have nothing to compare it to, but feel that having 2 bother siblings was just perfect growing up. All of us are 3 years apart.

Have two, wife just told she was pregnant again Friday. Am planning a vasectomy ASAP. But after the second, a lot of people say it doesn't get any worse.

This for me as well. My kids are very well mannered children and I bet if we would've had a third that one probably would've turned out to be a little demon. So, about when our second child was three my wife and I agreed that was it and I got a vasectomy.

Already had one and tried to stop at 2 but the hospital forced us to take both of the twins.

My wife had to talk me into our 3rd child and it was the best argument I've ever "lost". It's hard but I never have regretted it

The third is great. The other two kids are like little parents.

Now, the fourth. That was just poor planning

I love her like she's my first, though.

I don't regret having a third child. However, she did come by way of a failed IUD, but she's 4 now, and we love her to pieces. If you don't want anymore kids, get that shite snipped.
