Jacob Carter, co-owner of Howdy Bagels in Tacoma, was fatally shot while vacationing with his husband in New Orleans.
On January 5, at around 1:30 a.m., the New Orleans Police Department responded to calls of an unresponsive male near the intersection of Bourbon Street and Kerlerec Street, in the city’s Marigny neighborhood. Police later reported that a person approached Carter, shot him, and fled. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Only way for it to be fixed is black people in general not choose a life of drugs, violence, welfare, and fatherless homes. Politicians can’t fix that. The per capita murder rate in NOLA is over 5 times as high as what it is in Los Angeles
In that regard Los Angeles is in fact a much fricking better place

A smear job for a reality tv show ? That’s laughable …. There is more than enough work for that sector. Paul was a nice man and that incident is tragic, but I lived in both and LA has a much safer feeling.
