Dude...I really have no words. I freaking hate cancer. Stay strong and say your prayers. While your prognosis maybe grim, stranger things have happened. Fight every hour of every day. I am praying for you.

I hate that anyone has to go through this nightmare. You, your loved ones, all of it. I absolutely hate it and I am so sorry to hear you and your family have to suffer through this difficult time. I will keep you in my prayers. Try to stay strong and positive. Tons of respect, positive thoughts, and prayers your way.

You're amazing. As a recovering cancer patient myself I can't say enough about the importance of having a positive attitude when you're facing the "Big C". I take each day at a time. I know this demon can raise its ugly head again at any moment. So I live and I love. The positives? Medical research into cure for cancer is making great progress. My Oncologist and his team of research scientist are absolutely amazing. I was borderline stage 4.

Hang in there my friend.

My mother in law had the whipple surgery after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. They told her she had a year at most. She lived an active life for 6 more years. Keep fighting, only God knows how much time you have.

The only thing you can do is fight. If you don't want to stick to every treatment regimen, don't. It won't mean you aren't fighting. Eat organic kiwi, berries and mango fruit everyday, chew it until it turns to liquid before you swallow. Try things, ask your oncologist about all kinds of things.

Also, I told Ben what a fantastic surgeon Dr. Henry Kaufman is (Lafayette). I know several posters know him or of him. Would appreciate anyone's input.

I can vouch for this also - Kaufman is great.

lovelsu randomly popped into my head this morning. If you see this, can you please update us? Hope she’s still fighting the good fight and kicking cancer’s arse.

I'd love to hear that she's doing well. We all know how things went for Ben. It would be nice to hear that someone beat the abyssal odds associated with pancreatic cancer.
