It wasn’t insane it was intentional.

I fear that one of the consequences of the dishonesty and mix messaging the public received during covid will be if there ever is another outbreak. one that say kills 5-10% (or worse) of those infected and the public really does need to listen to officials and act fast to contain it....we wont believe them.

This Expression of Concern does not imply that the methodology used by Mr. Andrew Bryant and his collaborators was incorrect. The use of summary data published by others is a generally accepted approach in biomedical metanalytic research.1

If so....yikes
Like I told Tomato, I specifically quoted the NIH because the guy I was responding to posted a link from the NIH.
If we're just going to play the "only the things I like to hear are true" game, then by all means cite a Facebook post or a 4chan meme or something

No it’s because it’s available as a generic. Making money is more important than your health.

Every person should listen to the Dr. Pierre Kory interview with Tucker Carlson.

The more IQ tests are taking across classes when comparing those of the same work ethic, the more your theory is confirmed.

this one?
Yes, because after that there was a review of their study and this was the result:
quote:
In their original meta-analysis, Bryant et al3 performed sensitivity analyses to assess robustness of their results by performing trial sequential analysis to confirm that ivermectin reduced mortality. Reanalysis of the study by Niaee et al showed that it should have been recategorized as having a high risk of bias and excluded during sensitivity analysis.24 This study had data and statistical errors previously described and included PCR-negative patients with different between-group PCR positivity, BMI, oxygen saturation, and initial CT performance, indicating randomization failure. In our opinion, these issues require removal of this article from any meta-analysis. Importantly, this was the only article within the Bryant meta-analysis showing that ivermectin reduced mortality.4 Removal of this single article alters their results so that no significant difference now exists between ivermectin and control mortality (risk ratio, 0.73; 95% CI, 0.45–1.18).

All well constructed studies are funded by big pharma (and therefore lies). I'll stick with what I heard my AC guy talking about at Chili's

It was silly to ever paint it as "horse medicine," yes.
Meh.
Anyone who contributed to the shortage at places like TSC because they were following advise and dosing recommendations from fake podcast doctors deserves to be ridiculed.
It's impossible for anything to come out to change that.

My beagles, goats, and horses all get a dose once a month, and I knock down a shot myself afterwards each time. Use the liquid injectable orally and chase it with coke to wash down the taste.

Mr. Alderson got started with 10 rounds of radiation therapy. Initially, his carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), a marker for tumor activity, was significantly elevated at 480 nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL). A month later, he started chemotherapy. By then, his CEA levels had risen to 1,498 ng/mL.
By the time Mr. Alderson started treatment, his colon cancer had metastasized and spread to his liver, where he had 25 tumors. “I was off their charts,” Mr. Alderson said in an interview with The Cancer Box, a cancer diagnosis blog. Due to concerns about COVID-19 and the ongoing pandemic, Mr. Alderson started looking into preventative medication and found ivermectin. Further research showed that the drug could likely enhance the effectiveness of his chemotherapy and radiation therapy and was relatively safe. In February 2021, he began taking ivermectin. Ten days later, his CEA levels had dropped to 184 ng/mL.
. . .
Mr. Alderson went on to live another two years before succumbing to liver failure due to the progression of his three remaining liver tumors.
“His life was definitely extended,” Mrs. Alderson said, reflecting on Mr. Alderson’s cancer journey.
She attributes Mr. Alderson’s survival beyond his prognosis to his success with ivermectin and the chemotherapy drug fluorouracil. “Ivermectin was instrumental,” she said.

That doesn't invalidate anything.

Hate to be the voice of reason here, but this ruling has nothing to do with ivermectin and its effectiveness against Covid. It merely states the FDA stepped out of bounds by recommending or discouraging certain medications.

This thread is going to be nothing but confirmation bias warriors on both sides, so I'll just drop that this was the actual holding and then move on:
In short, the ruling is a general one and has nothing to do with the efficacy, or non efficacy, of a single drug.
Carry on.

“FDA can inform, but it has identified no authority allowing it to recommend consumers ‘stop’ taking medicine,” U.S. Circuit Judge Don Willett, appointed under President Trump, wrote for the court. The appeals court remanded the case back to the district court.

These threads are fascinating to watch the conspiracies people choose to die on a hill for, yet call people sheep for the conspiracies others believe in.
