It’s not that our medical community is mediocre so much as just straight up corrupt.

So nothing about Ivermectin being effective, just that the FDA were out of their lane in terms of public messaging. What a surprise.

A review of 14 studies on ivermectin use in 2021 found little significant evidence supporting its use.

“It must be acknowledged that some of these studies were possibly intentionally designed to yield predetermined findings,” researchers wrote.

The bunk va study comes to mind.

The idea that ivermectin is a magic pill that cures covid is also dumb. Might be useful very early in disease but tough to know when covid is mild and only lasts 2-3 days in 90% of people anyway.

Don't try to reason with a dude who's name is Pureblood.

Doctors are no longer independent. They are owned by the big hospitals and will do as they are told.

It is like expecting civil servants or police to go against the government when they have a gov funded pension on the line.

They didn't want an answer to the problem, they wanted to use the problem.

They lied and said it was a drug intended for livestock. The court told them to stop lying.

Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally.

During Covid I learned that the American medical community as a whole is extremely mediocre.
It just highlighted, most all of them, just take orders from above like any other occupation.

IMO out of the 3 true professions, there is only 1 left standing in a true ethical sense.

The doctors that lost their licenses are winning bigly now. It's just a shame that people got run through the mud over this in the first place.

Muh horse medicine!

It was silly to ever paint it as "horse medicine," yes. It just...doesn't do anything for COVID. A lot of studies from the NIH show that it's not harmful at all, it just isn't effective

Curious, do you have a "PureBlood" vanity plate on your vehicle?

Just how far does this obsession go? Does your spouse support it? Do people turn away when they see you coming?

If you look at the top of this study, a letter has been issued to retract it because the data they used was inaccurate and the data they excluded invalidated their result. Newer studies (that one was from 2021) have all held that ivermectin isn't dangerous, it just doesn't change anything

The guy I was replying to posted a link from NIH. Is the NIH only trustworthy when they push ivermectin? Should I only listen to things I like to hear from them?
