People love the easy way out. Anything to not do the hard work of dieting and exercise. Sad.

I've heard quite a few people complain they gained all their weight back, plus more, after discontinuing the use of it. You would be surprised how many people don't understand, even after weight loss surgery, medication, or what not, if you don't change your eating habits, your doing it all for nothing.

Someone with bad eating habits will benefit while they're on it. That stuff eats muscle too. Wait until 6 months after they get off it to see what happens.

She died bc she took both ozempic and Mounjaro and the same time. That is highly inadvisable.

Wait, Ozempic is just semaglutide rebranded? Weren't these pills? Why are they shots now?

Ozempic is semaglutide and it's been around for a long time for diabetes, always in shot form.

The key thing about semaglutide and terzepatide (zepbound) is that they largely do not do much if the person that takes them does not make dietary and exercise changes. They are a tool, a very powerful tool, but they aren't going to magically make one skinny without lifestyle changes, particularly not long term.

There's no reason to shite on people using any tool to help with weight loss.

My doc just wrote me this on Mon and waiting to see if my blue cross picks it up

I was gonna make some dietary changes this year anyway but about to start 6mo of evening classes after work that would make the gym practically impossible unless I started leaving the house at 5am every morning

Oh yeah. And im about to take a serious swing at kicking a Copenhagen habit once and for all lol. Seems like an appetite suppressant would be good timing

So you’ve never struggled at creating a new habit? You’ve never wished you were more or less of something?

Ozempic is a shot
Rybelsus is a pill version of semaglutide.
Wegovy is the weight loss version of semglutide, and is a shot.

Mounjaro is tirzepatide and is a shot.
Zepbound is the weight loss version of Mounjaro and is a shot.

Baw, people taking ozempic weren’t stopping after half a pizza. They at the whole thing and probably the greasy cardboard spots at the bottom of the box.

My Dr. put me on Mounjaro and it was awful. I was violently sick for 11 days. Couldn't eat or drink anything without throwing it up instantly. I can barely eat to this day and that was 3 mos ago. I have lost my appetite completly. I have to force myself to eat now. I did lost about 40lbs but it wasn't worth it at all.

Doctors: Bulimia/Anemia is a mental disorder. It’s not healthy to lose weight by not eating or throwing up what you eat. Here are some pills to fix it

Also Doctors: you need to lose some weight. Here are some pills to make you not want to eat. They may cause you to throw up what you do eat

Americans are superbly amazing at finding ways to yield top level results without any actual work. Think about it: we are the fattest most unhealthy society yet somehow manage to be the world’s top economic producer while maintaining a superb military. All while being a bunch of lazy fatasses

We have truly mastered the world

I'm one of the lucky ones I think, been on Mounjaro for 2 years and no side effects at all.
