I never said it was upsetting or even persistent. My only point was them shoehorning that scene into the script reminded me that it was Netflix and just maybe they took some liberties with overall accuracies

I feel like this was incredibly overblown and not very difficult to understand his pov given the amount of time he’s spent in Israel and the death and destruction he’s personally witnessed . It just got meme-ified and driven into the ground by Dave after the fact. And im a pretty big fan of both Smith and Murray

Just seems like a pretty cheap trick to pile onto the fact that Murray is an Oxford educated intellectual who can’t really help that he’d sound like a condescending prick simply reading an obituary lol

Yeah this is my concern. I doubt ive ever been called a city slicker, but my neighbor has said several times over the last handful of years that it’s barely a break even endeavor for him. And we’ve helped each other out enough times over the years that I feel he’d be inclined to agree to it. Which is why I asked. If it’s a minor benefit money wise and a headache in any way it wouldn’t be worth it to me at all. I only have a couple neighbors in a 5mi radius so it matters to me to be a good neighbor

I had no idea what board to ask this :lol: But the title pretty much covers it. 90% of our land is pecan trees or wooded, so it’s not really suited to graze animals. I have a neighbor with a small-ish herd (30-40) and a ton of open field. We’re on great terms and have always helped each other other with random crap. My wife says there’s nothing uncommon about asking a friend/neighbor to let you raise a couple head in with theirs but A) I don’t want to be a nuisance of a neighbor and B) I have no idea what to offer him for the bother outside of the obvious food and any expenses

We’re an average size family but we have tons of freezer space and I just paid $27 for 5lbs of 80/20 at our local food lion lol There has to be a way to stock up on meat much cheaper than grocery prices these days
