I can't believe the number of people who openly admit to taking this stuff. Basically just admitting they're a lazy POS.

It does seem to be working. Not sure how healthy it is. Problem I'm seeing is they don't know when to stop and getting too skinny

I live in Mississippi; they should put that stuff in the water supply. Louisiana probably should as well.

Nothing like that comes for free. It could be one of the many side effects, or not be able to afford it any more and the weight slowly creeps back on. I don’t understand why tobacco companies can’t advertise anymore but overweight people can dance around on a commercial to advertise for a diabetes drug. The same drugs that a lot of people are using to lose weight, not necessarily because of diabetes.

No, not really. But perhaps I’m not as mentally weak as you.

Seriously? You can't see the difference?

And I think that the dancing diabetes commercials are stupid, but they DO help people. And if someone wants to lose weight and this gives them the push they need to get started or helps them get started or whatever, then more power to them.

My boss, who is diabetic, said it's hard to get bc too many overweight people are taking it just to lose weight. He's more worried about not being able to take it for his diabetes.

Alot of insurance companies are clamping down on covering it for that very reason... requires pre-authorization and your A1C has to be above a certain number or they won't cover it. If they'll cover it at all.

Like your opinion of them is any different if they just stay fat and don’t take anything.

Judging from the 41.9% of Americans who are obese, no.

The people that smoke know the potential side effects, how is a commercial that pretty much says it’s ok to be overweight any different? Tobacco bad, take a drug to help someone that’s overweight because that’s their choice. What am I missing?

If your take from those commercials is that it's ok to be fat... You missed more than probably any of us could help you figure out.

People will do anything but actually diet and exercise to lose weight.

The side effects in 5 years from this will be bad.

I took Mounjaro for a few months and lost 60 pounds, the gastro issues I had were too much for me to continue.

I was pre diabetic and it helped me through that.

Carnivore now and feel 1000x better and still losing weight.
