The desire of people to broadcast their stupidity astounds next.

He says on a thread on Tigerdroppings. Irony.
I'll have to put Mona Lisa on my next trip to the city.

My favorite part of buying something from Radio Shack was giving all my life information. Glad restaurants are going that route.

The owners a dude. As indicated by the reviewer calling him “he”
And this has been floating around Nola social media with positive response. I doubt that most upset would be making it a destination in the first place so it probably won’t hurt them much while many of their fans are saying they are making special trips.
Not my favorite response (particularly to the food quality aspect) but if you are going to blast a restaurant because they are doing what they are supposed to do a little push back doesn’t bug me

She's got to get in line behind the brewery guy. And the bad news is, it's a looooong line.

I don’t understand restauranteurs these days committing public seppuku
Did Goya commit seppuku? No. They got boycotted by AOC, and I, who had never heard of them, went online to buy their products. Mona Lisa will lose a few right wing customers, but they will be lionized by the left. Their business will increase, as did Goya’s - as does the business of CNN and Foxnews each time they run a story that pisses off the right/left.

And folks this is precisely what’s wrong with our culture
Everybody has to one up everybody else
Yest it was the brewery
Who knows what it was day before that abs day before that
Everybody want the last laugh
Very childish IMO for a place of business to respond like that though.

frick that place and the owner

The owners are good people. The food is good. The customer shouldn’t have been an arse clown. It’s not their fault that they need that information. They’re doing what they can to keep making money. If you don’t like it, stay home

Just FTR, Contact Tracing AFTER the virus is this widespread is a futile exercise. The time for contact tracing is at the very early initial stage of an outbreak-and then it's a very useful tool. Now , it's virtually pointless from an actual virus-cessation standpoint.
Besides her typical Karen-esque snarkiness, Karen's biggest mistake is placing her faith in "scientists" who she thinks are so super-smart they will somehow magically stop it's spread through "contact tracing". This thing is going to run it's natural course through 2020 and 2021 and beyond and "contact tracing" will be about the thousandth most important part of overcoming it. Additionally, if she REALLY wants to protect her customers, she would shut down COMPLETELY .

I really don't get the "wear a mask" crowd right now.... they say they are wearing a mask to work together to beat this, but have recently chosen to do nothing but violently and with vulgarity SHAME anyone who is not all in with masks.....thats how you're gonna work together? You think that's gonna bring people to your side??? Come on

They all say they will make special trips, like one of the people on the Courtyard twitter saying they will make a special trip but they complain about beer prices all the time. It is all for show, that person isn't going to make a special trip to New Orleans to pay the price of a Courtyard beer when they have issues with US, GB, AR, BC, Parish, and Gilla cost.

The food is very good and reasonably priced.

thats the customers choice and you can spread those among people.

Didn’t the contact tracing sign in mandate get axed before it even started?

Yup.
And has a neighborhoody feel being deep in the quarter but slightly off the beaten track.
A good bit of it’s business is FQ residents and folks who can walk to it. Pretty liberal crowd. Many of whom are tired of people giving them a hard time at their own bars and restaurants they work at.
