Yeah a drink clarifying statement is needed
So another question, bars have been allowed to sell food. So if my bar has outdoor seating can I eat outside and order drinks?

Barracuda in NOLA is about to be lit.
Perfect set up for this outcome

I am texting with my friend who owns a restaurant. She has received zero guidance since the start of this thing. One would think that ABC and the Governor's Office would issue official guidance and not have business owners relying on press conferences and news stories. She said she is calling around now to figure out what others are going to do.

Eh. It’s been pretty damn nice lately and I will be happy sitting outside in the right situation even through May

It doesn’t start until Friday, they have time to get that info out.

Here is a quote from guidance my restaurant owner friend just received via email:
"Restaurants will be allowed to open their outside areas for patrons to eat meals only, without tableside service."
ETA: She went right to what someone else mentioned as well. They will be stuck cleaning up the area but her servers won't be getting tips. That is problematic at best and, according to her, she won't open her patio if she can't get servers to work it.

Stay home then...I'll gladly go sit outside in a courtyard on Magazine St or St Charles Ave and watch yoga pants and shorts walk by

Virtually none. 08 is shitposting trying to claim this as a win.

This seems like an unnecessary tidbit. What else would someone be able to do at the table besides eat? Unless they're going to make sure drinks aren't served.

Such a joke, wtf is the difference of having a few tables inside.
Posted on 4/27/20 at 4:38 pm to omarlittle
How does that make any sense? Outdoor seating with tables next to each other is somehow magically less contagious than a restaurant with doors and windows?

The citizens of that state are why the government is the way it is.
Corrupt, irrational.
This isn’t a win at all.

I'm sure many will put extra garbage cans out but we've seen our residents, many won't bother to pick up their trash and will leave it for someone else.
