This is one of the dumbest damn things ever. It's perfectly safe for you to walk up to a counter, order, and bring the food outside yourself, and eat it outside, and go back in for more food, more drinks, etc...
but it's completely unsafe for the worker to bring the food to your table.
This is stupider than just continuing the current measures.

Places like Blue Oak are where I want to go, but they will be slammed in nice weather days

Wrong Iron, Tchoup Yard and Bayou Beer/Wine Garden about to be swarmed. Capacity will surely be limited, so will the police go back to chasing off street parties, ala Tracy's?
On a related note, I suppose under these guidelines that restaurant in Houston that was cited for police officers eating on their outside patio would have been kosher, if in LA. But not till Friday.

Are you sure they will be allowed to open.
Wrong Iron might as well go ahead and auction off seats if they have to limit to 25%.
They can donate to a service industry charity

Many places will be slammed.
Order your food and a beer.
Eat food and finish beer
Walk to restaurant and order another beer
Repeat
Profit

Why can't you just order another beer from your waiter at the first place?
Oh yeah, your butt buddy JBE. That's why.

I don’t see how they will be “slammed” with 25% occupancy outdoors & socially distanced tables
Posted on 4/27/20 at 4:50 pm to LSUJML
Slammed as in you won't be able to get a table due to a long wait.
Posted on 4/27/20 at 4:52 pm to tgrbaitn08
If only JBE had a crony whose family owned a hot dog chain with a lot of outdoor tables.

I’m gonna call every time I need a margarita.
“Yeah this is Dave outside, I need three large margaritas and a plate of jalapeño poppers thanks.”

George’s? Dat Dog? Didn’t think about that.
Good point!

what does that mean
It means at like say izzos burrito you can grab a burrito and eat on tables outside.
Basically, this helps fast casual places.

what
I don't understand.

None of them will be able to open because they will likely all be considered bars.
MAYBE bayou will have some argument but the others won’t.

This is all so fcked up. They are letting bars that sell food stay open to do to-go orders.
So if Wrong Iron and Tchoup yard do their food via food trucks, I guess they can't open up.
