Tahoe (best size, best capability, very good reliability)
4Runner (best Reliability)
Xterra (decently reliable, but not as big or capable as the above two)
CRV (least capable, smallest, reliability good on older ones but brand new ones have oil dilution problems)

4runner will likely hold up the best but resell value on them isn't buyer friendly.
Best value may be Tahoe.

The only thing I don't like about my Tahoe is the middle bench. I should have went with the Yukon Denali instead with the captain chairs
It doesn’t have to be a Denali to get that option.

I just like the look of the Denali.

Xterra has a transmission issue at around 120,000 miles. Do research before you pick it. We got an old used one and did the work to correct problem before 80,000 miles. I like driving it though. That's all I got.

4runner for reliability.
Xterra because I just plain like them.

4 Runner.
Tahoe....your transmission will crap out, the dash will crack. If the dash doesnt crack, your AC solenoid will crap out and whoever changes it will crack the dash.
Don't know about the others. 1st 2 are my experiences.

CRV doesn’t seem like it fits in that bunch.
Actually the Tahoe doesn’t fit in that bunch....
And Xterras are the most underpowered piece of shits I’ve ever driven...

as mileage. The GM 5.3 V8 LS motor will probably go down as the best engine ever assembled
My personal experience agrees with this
Just keep the oil changed regularly or you’ll get the dreaded lifter slap
300k mile club checking in

Those other 3 vehicles don’t even belong in the same discussion with the 4Runner.
I've had a third, fourth, and fifth gen 4runner.
I now have an xterra with 170k miles on it and I'm keeping it forever.
Absolutely everything on it is like new.
2000-2004 xterras were bulletproof but underpowered.
2005-2010 xterras were bulletproof...with bad radiators that caused massive transmission issues in the Autos. If you ignored oil changes, they would eat the timing chain guides.
2011-2015 are astoundingly reliable and good offroad. Transmission and timing guide issues fixed. I've yet to have to change anything that wasn't for my own amusement.
I took my 13 to Moab, wheeled for a few days, and then added another 4k mikes of road trip after the fact.
The fuel mileage is God awful. 20 stock. 16 with a winch bumper and 10 ply 33s.

Those are pretty different price ranges
If you can afford a Tahoe you aren’t considering a CRV
