You want to stop crime?
No people with facial tattoos allowed in quarter.
Bam.
Most of these thug gangs have facial tattoos.
You could arrest everyone with facial tattoos and charge them later and crime would go down big time.

"Next on CNN, five successful people with facial tattoos facing new discrimination from an unlikely source."

fricking New Orleans people.

The shooter had a rap sheet a mile wide. He fricked a 15 year old, multiple assault and battery charges, multiple felon with a firearm charges, you name it

But he was walking the streets still

Drunks, drugs and guns are never a good combination. This event doesn’t scare me, it happens all the time in all states. I realize anyone has the right to be anywhere, but it is a good idea to think first before you put yourself in what could be a bad situation. We live in New Orleans and go to the French Quarter almost every weekend, but we are never on Bourbon street and certainly not atfter 3 am. The raucous crowds on Bourbon Street are a real turn off and strike fear in my heart. One could get stabbed in the crowd and scream for help, but no one would hear you. Very sorry a beautiful young mother lost her life.

Got to make sure that NOLA keeps its “flavor”.

Can’t let it turn into Amish-ville.

Theres a video on facebook of the scene last night. The poor woman was lying in the street, bleeding out, with the piece of filth surrounded by four cops in handcuffs right by her, and the security guard all shot up on the floor of the Willies. This guy should get everything thats coming to him. The video is horrible and graphic.

I saw it. I understand that some feel the public needs to know what happens when one of these dirt bag POS bastards goes off and harms innocent people. It's nothing like NCIS on primetime TV. There is blood, pain, and suffering.

But I do feel badly for her family, as well as the dignity of the woman. So part of me wishes that would not have been posted on social media.

Yes- I believe the person who did this will never be anything more than the POS he is- and deserves to die for this. Sooner, rather than later.

But the truth is he will get far more compassion from the system than he gave the productive member of society- who died in the filth of Bourbon Street in the wake of his own animalistic behavior.

The worst part about this is where was the press conference about this? We had a good local citizen gunned down during the fricking even that puts this place on the map by a piece of shite that should've never been out of a jail cell and nothing. This is a big fricking deal. WWL had to catch her in the fricking hallway for a comment about this incident. And the new police chief has zero leadership qualities about him. Everytime he speaks he looks like the nervous kid in high school speech class. I love this city and I've never lived anywhere else but it's getting harder and harder to justify sticking around this place.

This is why we need more prisons, not fewer and, lengthier sentences, not shorter.

Guy stole a gun while fighting an armed guard and turned out to be a really bad shot.
The criminal is captured. Case closed.
