Why was a 36 year old local on Bourbon at 3 am? I haven't set foot on Bourbon after 10 pm since my 20s and I haven't been on Bourbon at all in probably 3 years. Garbage is wandering that area at that time of night. Case in point...

Let me understand you. As a local, you know you can't be around the city's tourism center after 10 and actually avoid it seemingly at all costs.
Why in the world would it be okay to invite the rest of the world there then? Why should anyone go especially if they are blind to the potential dangers you know to avoid?

Theres a video on facebook of the scene last night. The poor woman was lying in the street, bleeding out, with the piece of filth surrounded by four cops in handcuffs right by her, and the security guard all shot up on the floor of the Willies. This guy should get everything thats coming to him.
The video is horrible and graphic.

Why would anyone be out passed midnight during the biggest festival time of the year in a city that has a reputation as a party town and survives off of tourism?
Not to mention, why would anyone want to party safely on one of the world’s most famous party streets?
That makes no sense to Scruffy. Tourists should be in bed by 10 PM!

Some places are too far gone to save. New Orleans is one of them.

Too bad they didn't just blow his worthless f*cking brains out and tend to her in any way they could until paramedics arrived.

I guess it's time to start doing airboat rides and cemetery tours at night
Last call the FQ at 9:45 and clear the streets

Do you hold that same mindset on any problem that society may encounter?
Since they are unwilling to clean up the city, you have to understand the playing field you are on, when in the Quarter and play by the rules.
Wandering the streets after midnight is not smart. Wandering the streets wasted out of your mind is not smart. Wandering north towards Rampart is not smart, day or night. Wandering deserted streets after dark is not safe. Wearing flashy jewelry is not smart. Walking the last block of Bourbon to Canal is not smart.
After all this time, they keep feeding the stray cats so the stray cats, stay.
Watch out for those cats.

FQ has The only Krystal in America where you're figuring out an exit strategy and escape route back to the hotel while you're waiting for your order.

No one cares about your lack of social life.
