That feller doesn’t look 100% Japanese.
Are you under the impression that you have to "look 100%" like a person from a particular country in order to represent that particular country at the Olympics?

I mean, if you’re Japanese, you shouldn’t look Cuban.
All I’m sayin.
(Those are two different people though)

Dude was a terminator. Destroyed the Brazilian in the gold medal round. Nobody got close to beating Abe.

Come to think of it, this summer in particular has been the most I’ve heard anyone talk about the Olympics in decades.
Probably because… 2020 Covid … 2016 Great Flood (if you’re from SELA) and 2012 Phelps was about the only decent contributor.

Kudos to the Japanese competitor for a picture perfect heel victory pose.

This is the least I’ve cared about the Olympics in decades.
The end of the Cold War took most of the drama out of the Olympics. Then you've always had the issue of sharing TV time between sports people might actually want to watch and all those sports that only immediate family members of the participants care about. And probably only a few of them.

Abe has a sister and they've been wrecking everyone in Judo for some time. They both won gold in Tokyo but I think she's been eliminated in Paris. I think it was a major and devastating upset for her. She has been very dominant.

I hear the Mexican Judo competitors are favored this year.

Ah. The classic approach.
"It never happened."
"If it did happen, why do you care?"
Then we get into the dangerous words routine of course.

Sounds like a fabricated story for engagement.

I’m not sure this is the proper use of the word “karma”. He lost to someone that was the favorite from what I can tell.

what about a set of track and field competitions for Fatties to win fast food, and call it the Ozempic's?

I guess the God of the Jews is stronger than the snack bar god.
