Had Lasik in my 30's but started using reading glasses at 42.

I had perfect vision all my life, then at about 40 I noticed I was having more trouble reading and had to get a reading glasses script. This is called Presbyopia and will happen to just about everyone after 40.

If I never try on readers I’ll never need them.
For my older brother it was around 35. I didn’t know he wore them and at my grandma’s funeral he did a reading. When he paused to put them on, I had to choke down a laugh and play it off like a cough.

I’m 49 and don’t need them. I would like for manufacturers to stop printing shite so small though.

Even with annual pilot physicals? Damn.
For OP, mid 40s, I can't see receipts, etc. in dim light, and I bought a 12 pack of glasses on Amazon. It's super hot on dates when I have to roll out my readers. Still better than being married. You have fake tits, I can't see at night, deal with it.

Mid 40s.
It’s a progressive thing. One day you just can’t deny it anymore.

Not a very strong prescription but looking at a computer all day I need the blue light blockers and a little something to help me see close up.

About 28-30. I wear them to read and work on a computer monitor, but not otherwise.

Reading glasses 40's and in my 50's, bifocals. Some days I can watch TV or drive without them. Other days I can't see shite.

40 or so. I'm now looking in to lens replacement(cataract) surgery. That technology has improved over the last few years.

4th grade. Should have been sooner. Really only found out when they did one of those vision tests at school. Do they still do those?
It was really amazing to finally “see” what I was missing.
