Same situation happens in the standard show. 23 year olds competing against 30+ year olds. It adds a tiny bit of drama to it.

Women have all of natures advantages over men that it’s only fair that mean age better. Like the OP said, he could be hitting chicks 10-15 years younger than those ladies.
