If hair loss is an overall side effect of GLP-1 medications, but taking them ultimately helps someone become healthier overall -- and gives them more confidence, I think that for many that would be a trade off worth exploring.

Hell of a lot easier to get into shape than to regrow hair...

Also-

Higher Testosterone = Higher DHT

Higher DHT = Increased hair loss

It's LOSE

LOOSE (adjective)

Not firmly or tightly fixed in place; free from restraint; not strict or exact.

The difference between the words lose and loose is clearly the most perplexing thing in the English language.

If someone doesn't have the willpower to eat better, and the only two choices left are obesity and drugs, it likely is a better choice to take the drugs. Yes, it's a sign of weakness, but it may save your life. I get the point.

Hair loss is often a side effect of overall stress or bad health. Many of these people are still metabolically unhealthy so this doesn’t shock me at all.

The people who educate need to do a better job of educating people as to what this really means and it's devastating effects to people's healthy longevity.

Your metabolic health is absolutely everything.

And there is plenty that can be done about it without the use of any medications or potions or anything at all. It is strictly behavior related.

Two new studies presented this week at the 129th annual meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology offer mixed results: one found GLP-1 drugs can increase the risk of diabetic retinopathy and non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), while another study suggests the drug may offer protection against dry age-related macular degeneration
"Can increase the risk." By how much? What's the relative risk anyway?

They cant do that any longer when taking the GLP-1. That's the point. If every heavy person took these we'd potentially see a reduction in healthcare spending.

Frick that, lol. I’d rather feel better and be in good physical condition. Of course getting there with diet and exercise is the way

This is kinda dumb. You lose weight by putting yourself in a calorie deficit. Doing that will contribute to hair loss whether it was GLP1 meds or not.

I have not had any side effects with Nutrafol or GLP, besides noticing hair in the sink after starting GLP.

For GLP, get with your doctor to determine the best one to take for you. Start off slow, and if there are side effects then re-evaluate and switch meds, lower the dose, or throw in the towel if its drastic.

This.

I found that the meds motivated me to work out, and now I have a routine. You cannot just take the meds and watch TV all day, but it provides the ability to have a good balance of workout and personal time without having to workout all day to change your body.

Smoke Marlboro reds if you want to lose weight it’s much healthier
I listened to a infomercial touting GLP-1 and this guy states that he lost 50 lbs over 4 months. How, possibly, could that be a healthy way to lose weight? I have dropped 60+ pounds over the last 18 months from changing my diet, exercise and far, far less alcohol. I'm kind of jealous that this guy dropped that much weight so fast, but if he doesn't add a change of life diet and exercise program to it, it's not sustainable.

The hair loss is a result of rapid weight loss and nutrient deficiency.

It’s a correlation, not a causation

The drug creates mayhem. My Facebook is full of 40-50 year old women now posting bikini photos. Many of them also divorcing their husbands (while playing victim of course).

But losing weight makes your hog look bigger, there’s always a trade off.
