Nothing.

To be fair, this year I got a ring, a house, and an upcoming wedding so I think I'm okay. We have never really officially done gifts. He has surprised me, I've surprised him, but nobody cares either way.

I got him a cashmere scarf for an upcoming cold wedding we are attending, and some nice leather cigar accessories, and a travel humidor.

Damn, that's a nice haul!

I've never, ever been anti marriage.

Wife surprised me walking into bedroom after 2 hours of wrapping gifts with lingerie on.

I don't remember anything else I got.

15’ Jon boat with a 20hp 4 cycle. Used to tournament fish but got out. This little thing will be fun for my boy to learn some real country stuff in. Jugs. Trotlines. Bream beds.

My 7 yr old boy got a ball that has a propeller on the inside. Barely throw it and it shoots across the room. Soon as it’s touched it goes off. So he takes off outside and chunks it…… off it went, up up up…over the trees and down across the woods. GONE. We’ll never find that sucker

I got a room full of kids and a wonderful lady that loves me opening gifts and being happy together in a beautifully decorated house. We are warm, we have food, a roof over our heads. Christmas music is playing.

I’ve got nice slippers on my feet, a cup of coffee with a shot of peppermint rumchata, a nice electric fireplace going and plenty of Christmas cheer. I didn’t lose any loved ones this year, and we are happy.

I can’t think of a better Christmas gift.


ETA: Although the unexpected 24 hours of PTO I discovered I had left last week is gonna make for a nice one day work week coming up.
