I agree and at least he has somewhat of a sense of humor about it. But these are the people being affected by it. They're tearing apart their own. Sad.

Is this the same State senator who was arrested during the first protest and she had a gun on her?

WTF? It shows how hard it is to make a living honestly in a place like that. Now he has to go out and find a new job, meanwhile not getting paid. When you are in a low-paying job like that it is detrimental to not have a paycheck coming in. His tweet shows that good people, who may sympathize with the problems of that community, are suffering at the hands of criminals.
As far as the buildings being burned, I'll be shocked if anyone sets up a new business there for years to come. Think how bad the area will become when entrepreneurs can't get insurance on new buildings, and hence, no loans.
The principle of burning down your own neighborhood in reaction has nothing to do with community outrage, it has everything to do with criminal opportunism.

Thanks for posting. The incident in complete reverse. What saved Officer Wilson's life was his own police vehicle. Had he been on foot in the initial encounter he would have had the same outcome as Lt Wax.

I don't know if that is better or worse. If it was the same one, at least some of the stupid was concentrated into one person

Holy crap, did anyone see CNNs animation of the encounter? They have Brown kneeling with his hands up and Wilson ealing up to him and firing 3-4 shots point blank at his upper body. That is the biggest wtf I've had over this entire event. Someone at CNN should go to jail for assisting in perpetuating this looting.

Extra Duty at Wal-Mart... she worked Saturdays while my dad worked Sundays. The week before, he was attacked in the same way she was. The only difference was the type of gun they had and the holster that goes with it (her gun was smaller and easier for her to handle). The holster my dad had made it difficult to unlatch. The perp tried to get the gun but couldn't and help arrived in time for my dad to cuff him. Vickie wasn't so lucky.
I knew of Vickie at the time from some extra duty she did at the Bon Carre business center. I also had a friend on the department at the time.
If I'm not mistaken she had a small wheel gun in a traditional holster, not a triple retention like most officers had for their semi autos.
My buddy on the department at the time told me Vicki was calling out to people to call the police as her weapon was wrestled away from her before she was shot with it.
The threat of dying at the hands of your duty weapon is a real threat for police officers.

the media are professional agitators
they can't stand the thought of this "event" being over.

That Sunny bitch is still spewing her non factual drivel on CNN. MOM needs to go back and spank that arse again.

They keep showing it on CNNgo. I'll try and find a link. It's completely ridiculous even if you go by Brown supporters suggestion of what happened.

I've seen it twice now on CNNgo which is just live streaming CNN. I can't find it online anywhere.

I just remembered... I was watching Miss Jupiters stream when she was in front of the alcohol store...
Did anyone see those two dudes running carrying that 60-70 inch TV?
