Especially now that it’s the weekend, I’m sure people are flocking there from out of state to riot.

Yeah, I’m thinking of driving up there tonight. Hoping I can score a new Xbox.

That’s not what this is. Being too rough does not equal murderer. I bet the coroners report confirms this wasn’t asphyxiation

You are also dealing with a profession that deaths happening can sometimes be part of the job duty. Police aren’t above the law, but it should play into factor that they deal with life and death situations and criminals. We all in our jobs have sometimes made critical errors by mistake. A life and an error in numbers are very different mistakes, but if a potential death by a police officer happens, I don’t see how you can’t treat it a little differently (like they did here) unless it was very blatant. More so than what he even did.

Finally. Probably could’ve avoided a hell of a lot of shite if they would’ve reacted quicker

You think the people rioting and burning and looting were going to act rationally?

Not following appropriate procedure for restraining someone can absolutely result in you catching a charge if you kill them in the process.

He may have been on drugs. Potentially ODing. But that knee on his neck for so long definitely did him in. 100%. Full video is on the daily mail. Don’t want to link it and get banned for sharing videos of someone dying.

The worst is there was one officer who could ha e potentially checked on the suspect. However, he refused even with people begging near by. I’m assuming it is protocol to not turn your back to what you consider a hostile situation? But I would think you would take maybe at least one glance and asses that situation.

The irony for the lefties cheering the riots on, a Union is the reason for the delay

Gonna need to see a link to Union bylaws giving cops protection from being arrested for criminal transgressions, regardless of if it was at work.

My mind cannot get off of the question “what was Officer Chauvin thinking?”

It is dumbfounding to me that someone in his position can be so ridiculously unaware of the situation he is in and the outcome likely to come from it.

Sounds like he’s from down da bayou.

Hope he’s not.

No matter, he’s going up the river.
