Maybe protest, but hopefully the rioting ends sooner than later.

Thats the bad thing about this. You have the protestors than the group of people who take advantage of the situation and riot, which completely takes away attention from the protest.

If he gets released b/c “technically” 72 hours then they just let 1 pos cop put every good cop in immediate danger.

shite is hot right now and him getting released will be a disaster

Link to Probable Cause report - Chauvin's charged with 3rd degree murder & 2nd degree manslaughter

the link also includes this fun little tidbit

quote:

While standing outside the car, Mr. Floyd began saying and repeating that he could not breathe. The defendant went to the passenger side and tried to get Mr. Floyd into the car from that side and Lang and Kueng assisted."

so the deceased started complaining about shortness of breath BEFORE they even put him on the ground

The next paragraph on your screenshot also stated that he had his knee on his neck for over 8 minutes, with over 2 minutes him not being responsive. It also states that the technique he used was indeed trained on as being dangerous.

ok... then let's also go back a couple paragraphs where the deceased stiffened up and fell to the ground on purpose in an attempt to make it the most difficult for the officers to get him to the squad car

then fought the officers as they tried to get him in the vehicle

now he's suddenly complaining of difficulty breathing WHILE STANDING?

if I'm a cop I could definitely read that as yet another attempt to resist arrest

a terrible mid-read signal due to the deceased's previous actions

1. For everyone saying he didnt pay enough attention to the guy saying he couldnt breathe, its pretty common for people being arrested to say they cant breathe or they're suffering in some way.

2. The video is weird as frick, they're just sitting around looking, not much communication from anyone. Its hard for me to believe this cop set out to kill the guy since he was aware he was being filmed and all. If a cop really just wanted to kill black people like the activists claim there are less conspicuous ways I'm sure.

3. Its odd to me that we haven't had any of these big racial incidents in awhile then suddenly you have the jogger killed in Georgia and now this.

doesn't really matter at all from a legal perspective in regards to his charge

It's probably pretty "odd" to the deceased and their families, too.

Once again people this is why you don’t jump to conclusions.

We all in our jobs have sometimes made critical errors by mistake. A life and an error in numbers are very different mistakes, but if a potential death by a police officer happens, I don’t see how you can’t treat it a little differently (like they did here) unless it was very blatant.

Pressing your knee down on a dude's neck who is clearly subdued for 10 minutes isn't blatant to you? The frick?

Ahmaud Arbery was murdered in February. It only came to national attention recently b/c the video of the incident leaked.
