My mind cannot get off of the question “what was Officer Chauvin thinking?”
It is dumbfounding to me that someone in his position can be so ridiculously unaware of the situation he is in and the outcome likely to come from it.
playing devil's advocate...
maybe he's so distracted by the craziness going on around him that he's basically tunnel visioned onto that... watching to see if anyone else does try to attack him that he really doesn't think about what's going on beneath him
again... just playing devil's advocate

I would find that explanation more plausible if he were by himself. But when he had three other police standing there watching you'd like to think they had his back.

You'll see protests until the stores run out of flat-screen TVs.

They wouldn't have been in a hostile situation if they weren't in the process of murdering one of their family members.

Ok. But what about the other three officers who were just standing there??? You gonna tell me that with FOUR officers AND a man handcuffed already on the ground they could not put the suspect in the car?????? This part I just don’t get. I mean what’s the suspect gonna do if it takes FOUR officers to get him into a patrol car??? Now if this officer was by himself???? Different story.

do we know how big the crowd was?
3 officers strictly watching the crowd could still not be enough
if there's 10 lookie-loos around the scene... the 3 officers may not be able to hold it

not every police vehicle is meant to hold a suspect
it's quite possible they were having to wait for a transport unit

So what if the report says he had a heart attack? That wont change anything..he'll still be charged with murder

He already was. But not because prosecutors believe it met the legal definition. Only because of fear and pandering

So there were three other officers. I’m not sure if they changed positions, but originally there were actually 3 people on top of Floyd, and only one officer controlling the crowd. You don’t see how many people are in the crowd, but they were all yelling at the officer which I’m assuming didn’t help the situation. Not sure why it takes three men to sit on someone in custody. Especially when one is on the neck choking them out.....

maybe not
are we sure that SUV in the image isn't a K9 unit and only has dog supplies (inc. the dog) inside it?
