Maybe since he clearly breathes through his own arse he assumed the victim did too?

He was killed in front of an SUV.... but it doesn’t matter. EVERY cop car in every city should be equipped to have a suspect put in it. Plus even if they were waiting on a car then why not let the guy up and restrain him with the other officers?????

He's been charged with 3rd Degree Murder...just like I said he would be

If the feds come with a civil rights charge, there could be a plea deal where this never actually sees a trial.

It’s SO easy to cuff a guy and sit him on his arse leaning against a car. You basically can control him by holding his shoulder. I think he just wanted to give the guy the maximum disrespect possible for something that was said that hurt the cop’s ego.

I think that’s the highest and best charge they could have given him. If they tried to say he had intent, he would have gotten off only because you can see in the video that he wasn’t in a position to see his face or check vitals.

K9 units are specifically built with the dog's needs and job qualifications in mind... not transporting a prisoner

and I'm sure more municipalities run police cars without "cages" in them b/c that would just be more expensive (you don't like having your taxes raised do you)... so you only run like 5 with cages and the rest are just regular cars that can be bought and used quickly

if he's already tried to fight the officers (which the department did say happened in its release along with the fact that the officer's body cameras rolled the whole time)... then you're not going to trust him to be good now thus make sure he's subdued until the transport unit arrives

And if you watch the videos, you see that he is truly never fighting the cops. Or if he is, it’s MINIMAL at best.

Did I hear right that the cop and Floyd worked together as security for a night club?

The plot thickens, maybe?

Subdued by sitting on the ground in handcuffs. Not held down with a knee on his neck.

I just think we need to be very careful charging cops with murder. Soon we won’t have any cops or they will be to afraid to do anything. It’s fricking rough out there and they have to get rough to keep the wolves at bay. The guy died, the cop was too rough and it’s a shame. but it’s not murder. comply and this shite doesn’t happen.

Yes. The owner of that club though said they would have some 12 security a night inside and the cops sat outside, so they may have potentially never met.

officer's knee should be between his shoulder blades... not over his neck... that is very poor technique

that said... if he's already tried to fight the officers... they probably don't want to give him another chance to get up and take off again until the transport is there

if it takes 3 officers to hold him down... it probably wouldn't take much relief for him to try to take off again (like to say change positions or move him into a sitting position off to the side)... and that's what they want to prevent

And again, if you’ve seen all the videos, you can see there is little to no actual fight from George. Taking the police reports words as fact is as good as believing Louisiana politicians when they tell you they aren’t corrupt and pocketing your tax dollars.
