Cause pushing them doesn't make any sense.

Real lack of info being released by the Sheriffs Office. Didn’t even say where the guy works other than “not at the sheriffs office.”

"juveniles", eh?

How very descriptive...

I guess the parents were too busy sheltering in place.

How do you have enough information from that article you posted to form any kind of opinion either way?

Teenagers outside the cops house at 4am...

I'm assuming it was a Bible Study group.

I love how the headline tries to flare up race relations.

It's literally right next to it...

Seven miles NW of NO is Lake Pontchartrain...

If this happened more often there might be a lot fewer car burglaries. Or maybe the police could really pay attention to these types of crimes so as to avoid incidents like this.

If the kid is black, the cop is guilty. Period.

You know how this works.

Furthermore, if this "juvenile" is out committing a crime at 3am, he had a bright future ahead of him as a career criminal.

Not enough info in the title or article to have a true opinion, but unless the kid threatened him, the cop is way wrong and will go to prison.
Even if he was justified, his life is ruined. Something like this happened in BR 20+ years ago. A guy shot a Japanese exchange student outside his house. The kid was going to a Halloween party, and the home owner shot and killed him. He was found not guilty, but he said the trial put him in the poor house, lost job, lawyers, etc.

Makes it sound like he shot some kids that were playing outside his house!!

Your thread title makes it sound like he shot a burglar that was trying to be a juvenile.

Probably to take change and other shite inside the car. That’s not a death sentence.

That was in Central.

Here in Texas there is definitely a difference in a day vs night shooting. Not sure if the same laws apply in Louisiana.

We studied that case in concealed carry class.

Not in Metairie. Im not saying he'll get off Scot-free, but he stands a much better chance in Jefferson Parish than he would in Orleans Parish.

14 yo white kid. Hanging out at 3 am. Wrong color to make national headlines. My friend taught him in school. Right by St. Edward the Confessor Church. Right down street from East Jefferson HS.
