No one is starving, it’s just another Democrat handout to secure votes.

I see nothing wrong with this

Ahh, because once that 6.7 million runs dry this new program will stop, right?

I guess I need to talk to one of my good friends who lives out there.

He and his wife adopted an African daughter so they should now qualify as a biracial household. Free money for them.

This is why universal income or loan forgiveness will never be supported fully.

It will not be distributed equally, and they will intentionally write out the middle class.

Shhhhh.

Little at a time so nobody notices.

That is the plan, has been the plan, and will continue to be the plan.

Democrats and their unending supply of stupidity.

I can't wait to see the uproar when those payments stop, and they have to continue that ball rolling down the hill forever.

I think hispanic's and asian's are people of color. The only people not of color are white, which apparently isn't a color anymore.

I know someone who manages a Walmart Super Center. He’s been getting lots of complaints about very few registers being open for checkout and no one there to fill online pickup orders. He said that he simply cannot get the needed number of people to work. Many of the people he hires will consistently not show up for work, not call in, some for long periods of time. When they do decide to show up, he has no choice but to continue to employ them, just because he needs warm bodies to work.

Sounds like they arent paying enough if they are forced to keep people that dont show up because they have noone else.

So the white rich folks gon pay for this? Why do white people let this bullshite keep happening? Imagine if blacks were forced to pay for $500 a month for Indian families, and how pissed those blacks would be and how much noise they would make about

Your American education system at work. This guy cant even grasp what "privately funded" means.

So being black and unemployed in Oakland now pays you about $4200/month

ETA: I do see where this is a non profit providing the funding for roughly 600 families. Probably a good thing. They will see how miserably this fails, lose all their funds quickly and see nothing happens. Wont have money left to lobby lol

That money will be gone in less than 10 mins, spent on worthless shite.

Let’s continue to monetize being a lazy, worthless human being.

This is a bullshite headline.

It should read:

Oakland TAXPAYERS are BEING ROBBED WITHOUT CONSENT and FILTHY CRIMINAL POLITICIANS are giving THE STOLEN $500 a month to select low-income POC families

If I claim I identify as low-income POC from Oakland will I get a check?
