I doubt it's what they're hearing from their professors as much as it's the fact that they are now out from under the supervision and control of their parents and school teachers so they are much more "free" to spend 16+ hours a day online and constantly consuming shite that is designed to piss you off.

I don't understand how kids can be so different from their parents. If they have a good foundation, no amount of brainwashing should make them left wing nuts. My kids all think and act a lot like me. If one came home with some DEILGBTQ agenda bullshite I'd be quite shocked.
