The really wild part of this is that powered stretchers have been out for many years, why would you have this pice of gear for a pro sports event is mind boggling

female emts/paramedics are very common, at least in MS. This happens pretty often, usually the FD or PD/SO is on scene to help.

My department got power loaders 15 years ago, pathetic there are still departments without them. I know this board can bash women doing "men" jobs and I can see that side of the argument. I will say I worked along quite a few women in fire/ems and they were some of the best paramedics I worked with. There are some dang good female medics out there. Video wasn't really that bad, but maybe I was a part of that career for so long I just see it differently. Stretchers like that are outdated as frick. shite when we got rid of them 15 years ago they were outdated as frick.

I don’t disagree with the premise of this thread, but it almost looks like she was lifting it up and it was supposed to click into place but wasn’t. Because at the end when they were loading it onto the cart it looked like she was lifting it just fine.
But stuff like this is becoming more and more commonplace. Certain jobs require a certain level of physicality, and if you can’t perform it then you shouldn’t be allowed to be hired. Seems simple enough.

If she had been strong enough, she would have flipped him right off of the cart there at the end. It actually looked like she was trying to.

this is exactly what it looks like to me. you can tell at the beginning it isn't fully extended, then they lift and it extends more but then goes back down

When and why did EMT's become so fat?
It's been this way for at least the last 25+ years.
Was in the ER bout 10 years ago and every single EMT
going through there was obese and not just 20 to 30lbs overweight.

So, that's a mechanical issue with that stretcher. It's supposed to lift and click in place without having to physically "lift". You can see where she lifts and wheels don't stay on the ground (like they're supposed to) but instead come up with the stretcher. Even a man would've had an issue with that.

If his neck wasn’t already broken, it probably was after she bounced him around getting him on the cart.

A man would have had a better shot at not causing further issues to the injured person. It doesnt matter anymore, we've already accept views in direct opposition to reality. At a certain point we'll become apathetic as someone with a major head or neck injury rolls right off the stretcher and splats on the ground.
