Not tonight dear, I just ran a triathlon

The other day I saw the last 2 minutes of the Olympic triathlon.
The young lady who won the gold medal looks a little like the first woman I ever had a crush on when I was 20 years old.
So, the first thought that occurred to me was how long it would take for a person who ran a triathlon to recover enough to have sexual intercourse.
What do you think the recovery period is?

For a man, maybe 10 minutes. Women, is a great question. I would think it would depend on factors like money, status, and making other women jealous.

After an Olympic distance triathlon, gimme about an hour (I'll still do it in less than an hour, but I might throw up).
Recovery time for me to go at it with Gwen Jorgensen (gold medalist) would be a lot longer. I don't think I have a thing for the skeletor look.

My gf runs marathons, and we do the deed routinely a few hours after them.
A triathlon is more intense of course, but people who train for those are beasts and recover quickly, so it's some what comparable.

Are you talking about the girl that went to Wisconsin and only rode a bikee for a year before qualifing for London? She crushed the London gold medal winner this time. Great story and achievement. She's just not the type you get excited about in the ESPN body issue.
