What's also sad on top of the fact that the media have all the elements to allow them to focus on this story, white-due/military was the trigger puller, is that in our world, some lawyer got paid to draft the docs that we see......

How much slime and disfunction doe lawyers generate and profit off of?

So my cousin knows folks that were working near by.

Said was pure chaos and that the shooter never even took the boat out of idle.

Just slowed down, shot l, and kept moving in idle.

Wow, there's crazy and then whatever this guy is. Why is his name different in the Pickler post? Sean Debevoise vs Nigel Max Edge? Did he change it? The latter sounds like a made up wrestler name.

He changed his name. An article posted on tPT has more information... his delusions are out of this world.

Coincidentally, Trump spoke again the other day about reopening insane asylums.
He's not wrong. It's hard as hell to get anyone committed and even then, they let them go after 72 hours. For the ones that stay longer they force them to take the meds and they stop acting out, so the law says let them go. Once they're out, they quit taking the meds and we go through the whole damn thing again.

The people who made the rules are as crazy as the inmates.

Sad about this disturbed vet and his victims.

He should have gotten help and / or been committed long ago.

I’m impressed he was caught so quickly, I would have thought LE would have had a hard time identifying a boat drive by.

This guy needed mental help for a long time and never got it, and now people 3 people are dead

Coincidentally, Trump spoke again the other day about reopening insane asylums.

Veterans are one group in the US that actually has readily available and easily obtained access to mental health treatment, more so than probably any other group in the country.

this is indeed the case. People here just rush to politics and don't give the first shite about the victims.

Women are going to have to get over their toxic empathy for this ever to happen.

Asylums/mental institutions are not pleasant places for most of the patients. Most of the patients are not pleasant people. Just the way it is. Crying that all mental heath places should be shut down because a patient needs to be put in a straight jacket isn't how its done.

If Trump is the reason they get re-opened, the Left will be in a fervor the first time there is an "abuse" complaint.

They’re definitely going to go with the murderous military angle. I think they’ll also try to pile on with the Trump doesn’t care about mental health or veterans. They’ll say he claims to have improved the VA but, blah blah blah.

He wasn't on anyone's radar? Even family or friends?

I’m sure he was. There’s no way a guy this messed up would ever willingly seek treatment. He’s convinced he’s the sane one and everybody is out to get him. This guy was way too far gone. Way Way too far. It’s very difficult to involuntarily commit a person if they haven’t hurt somebody or themselves. I think we need to make it far easier to forcefully commit a person. At least for a short evaluation. If this had happened, any psychiatrist would have committed that guy for a long time.

People want to blame the amalogous “system”. There is help everywhere for people like this. But the person has to be cooperative. There is no way this guy was seeking help voluntarily. He was way too far gone.
