Nola.com had one picture with the crime scene and the collapsed Hard Rock crane in the background. That pictures so embodies the total decay of this city.

Sadly, we appear to be devolving.

This gonna turn out to be McDonald’s dispute.

I get that certain elements like to get into street fights.
I even understand entering into said confrontations over things as meaningless as stepping on shoes or looking at another gents paramour.
What I will truly never understand is shooting randomly into a crowd during such fracas. What is the desired outcome of this? And do they honestly think they won’t be caught? That area is covered with cops and cameras not to mention the multitude of eyewitnesses.

Its probably hard for you to relate to because, like most of us, you probably have some level of respect for laws and human life.

They are illiterate trash that has been raised to not respect any human life. Subhuman scum.

It is a fact that low IQ is directly proportional to low impulse control. With low impulse control an individual does not weigh future consequences before acting.

The superdome loses money on this event. But they essentially have to host the event.

Football game between Grambling and Southern, two HBCU schools in Louisiana. They play every year in the Superdome.

The city needs to cancel this shite. It does NOT generate money for the city.
The fans don’t stay in hotels. People open illegal business all over downtown to peddle gifts and food. This investigation costs thousands, etc etc etc
Latoya needs to take a stand like Mitchell did against statues.

As to the "urban legends" of this event, I have heard enough from friends in the business to know there is truth.
The grilling in the rooms stories may not happen as much but there is a huge problem with folks jamming a dozen people in a room and leaving lots of damage. And the staff at these hotels all do not want to work on these weekends because it is one long complaint by the guests and they will claim racism over any perceived slight. The hotels charge less than other events like the Superbowl and Mardi Gras but still get accused of racism for having higher than normal rates. One friend whose company manages a few downtown hotels will purposely schedule maintenance which will close rooms like painting/updating furniture/plumbing etc. to occur that week.

I think the point is to allow the constituency to have a good time, your social values and the safety of the citizens are not of concern.
