I'm trying to understand sales tax a little better on a new vehicle purchase in Louisiana. I know state tax rate is 4% but do you also pay the parish or city tax? I think my total tax rate is almost 10%. This seems really steep compared to other states on vehicle purchases. ...

Our guest bathroom has black mold spots on the sheetrock around the bathtub/shower. I’ve used some bleach and tried to clean the areas but it never really goes away.
