I'm medical, so I go to a dispensary. My state is rec too, so it's not difficult to get. Do NOT buy vape carts from the internet or others who don't get them from an actual dispensary. You can buy them, but they are dangerous.

I have never allowed smoking of any kind (cigs, cigars, weed, vape...) in my house. I don't do it, so I don't want to smell it. I used to say just go hang outside if you need to smoke, but one day I noticed some of the smokers used to take that final drag and were still blowing it out as they walked in the house. Therefore, you must go away from any doors now.
Now that I have kids, I insist that they do not do it in line of sight any kids that may be at the house. All of my friends/family members that still smoke completely understand and will even go as far as go behind the shed to make sure no kids see it.

The carts don't get me very high for some reason. Just seems like it's missing something, maybe some cannabinoids. People love them though and they are handy as hell.
The ones you fill yourself put off a lot more smell btw, but work better for me.

Just a few more questions. Is the pen more or less the same smoking experience as regular weed? In other words, will the high be more or less the same?
Is it as “satisfying” , or however you would describe it?
I wouldn’t want to encourage something that would be more intense, or whatever.

When you’re older, family dynamics change. Kids move out, then sometimes come back, maybe with spouses and/or kids of their own. Sick family members come for support, or maybe if they’ve had a tragedy and need help, etc.

I've never smoked but lived with an ex that did. She kept it confined to the bathroom if she did smoke inside. I didn't mind that. It doesn't linger the way cigarettes do. But even she wouldn't just light up in the living room.

It's different. Carts are usually 60%+ thcA, where as flower is max around high 30%. However, I prefer a joint or flower to vape. You can get the pens ( 510 thread battery) anywhere. The pen has been great for Vacation and I stopped at the dispensary before leaving the state. The live resin carts, there are different extract ways, is what I use and they still smell, but def not like smoking.

I have cut back a massive amount over the last 6 - 12 months but I still prefer some actual pot over the pen.
Can't beat the pen for convenience, golf course, road trip, boat, etc. and it is still solid but doesn't hit quite the same to me.

that first of the cart always hits different.
I find it's not as intense and a more mellow high. Each cart is produced by a different company so some have more THC% than others. They're often flavored too.

There is no smoking in my house, period. If someone wants to step out on the deck and light up a joint or a cigarette, that’s fine. That shite doesn’t happen inside the house, though.
