well i pretty much think all drugs are trashy but one that smells like MJ and is associated with stoners...i find trashy.

If you don't and like to smoke...fricking awesome. I support the shite out of you being able to do so legally. I just find people that smoke pot to be lower class trashy people in general.

Smoking pot at someone else's house (if the owner isn't) seems pretty cringeworthy. My official rule would be don't do it anywhere on my property.

That said, if I found out a couple of my buddies secretly smoked outside at a gathering - who cares. I'd just shite on them a bit and tell them to grow up.

Eh.. it’s not cringey to me. It’s been forever since any of them have been able to come into Louisiana and visit, but we have several friends that don’t drink and just smoke. It’s not some big production.. they discreetly roll a small joint and hit it while we are on the patio visiting (while my SO and I are drinking instead).

We also have friends with kiddos who only do the pen so it isn’t detected by the kids, if they came into town with them. You’d have to be watching them like a hawk to catch them sneaking a hit. It’s like a small maneuver between seasoning the crawfish water or something. Not a production.

If someone is staying at my house all weekend watching us pound beers, I’d feel like a jerk saying no weed.

Yeah, I would never do that, or even ask if it were ok.

But I don't mind if people do at my place.

Not necessarily true. Most cops don't even care to arrest people who has a lil weed on them. It isn't worth the time or effort. The times where someone is arrested with weed, is usually when that person has been arrested before multiple times, or if theyre getting arrested for something else and the weed is just an extra charge.
The only times the cop will charge everyone in the car for some weed is if everyone refuses to claim it and accept any responsibility.

Obviously, if you run into the occasional power-tripping dick cop, all of this goes out the window.

This. GF smokes but only outside. My brother hits his bowl while visiting but out on the porch.

I don't allow smoking (anything) in my house. Wife has severe asthma.

Not in my house, not in my car and I prefer you to not have it around me. If you want to do the devil's lettuce I don't care but just don't be in possession of it around me. I am an adult, I have too much shib to lose now.
