Four seasons hotel and residences is running into financial trouble just 3 years after opening.

Sales of the high priced residences have been much less than expected with over 20 residences sitting unsold. Boysie Bollinger place is still sitting at 19mil.

Hotel occupancy has been okay but lags other properties.

If they cannot find restructured financing, it’s possible that they put the entire building up for sale.

Is anyone surprised?

This should be fun watch play out.

Banks are going to tell them to get fricked, pay your bills. Then the developers will launch a PR campaign talking about how the big bad banks are being the means and tell the locals how they're going to have to walk away and it'll be bad for them. They'll whine and cry, ask for the govt to step in and help. Probably give Teedy a fresh condo to bang ole boy in and then get some stimmy cash to save themselves before they turn it into section 8 in a few years.

Man, if I had a bunch of extra cash I'd buy a residence at Four Seasons at a discount.

I stayed there a few times when it first opened but the last few trips it was just too much more expensive than other nice hotels in the area. It’s not worth double the price of Windsor court

I wish I was an OT baller. I think all my problems would be solved and I would enter a higher spiritual realm, if I had nicer stuff.

Four seasons hotel

Went to a wedding reception there last summer.

They had nice gold colored dance floor and flowered ceiling.

Meanwhile there was bum laying in the Elevator to Vue Orleans where the wedding party was to exit.

Seemed like a bad idea for a City where you’re hardly in your room/hotel.

That’s the baw spelling.

I still haven’t stepped foot in this place. I am downtown all the time with work, so I need to make a lunch happen just to go see it.

Well you’d have to be a fricking idiot to be able to afford a 19 mil property and spend that money on a property in New Orleans.

Interest rates also shot up between the plan to build these and when they were actually for sale. A big interest rate swing for a 8-9 figure property is a significant amount of money, even for the uber rich.
