Plus you have to pay for condo fees of upwards of 6800 a month.

My favorite was the photos that were posted here of the condo, they included some of the private bar for residents with a cash register. If I just paid 19 million for a condo and another 6800 a month in fees, those drinks better be free.

I have been there a few times. The lobby bar is very nice and the banquet and reception rooms are nice enough, but I was not overwhelmed by them. I was expecting them to be palatial with scenic river views. That was not the case.

There was one living in the neutral ground, with his own little encampment and everything, right in front of their entrance for several years. I don't think they found a way to move him along until several months after they opened.

It is a beautiful place but, not surprised that the condos aren't selling in this market with interest rates so high. I've been to both restaurants in the hotel and they were good but, super expensive IMO.

Here's the penthouse you get in Chicago for $15 million.
Zillow

Here's what you get for $4.5 million MORE in New Orleans
Zillow

I don't know what they are thinking asking for these prices. I mean, look at that pad in Chicago. 3,000 more square feet. World class view. A MUCH nicer neighborhood. And cheaper than the Four Seasons.

Not sure how interest rates play into that market. I would expect the buyers to have the cash but maybe the lower end buyer needs a loan.

For the building owners through, getting refinancing at lower rates is probably out of the question…

Ate at the fancy arse overpriced "seafood" restaurant. They were out of half the menu...the seafood half. The steak was meh.

I am NOT saying this makes up the difference, but living in the Four Seasons has a bunch of cool perks. You get room service, maids, dog walkers, they'll even shop for your groceries.

But yes, it is very overpriced.

Pretty sure all NBA teams stay there when in New Orleans, but at 276 rooms, it's probably not big enough to host NFL teams.

You’re probably paying Four Seasons prices and not getting a true Four Seasons experience/services. It’s New Orleans…

The rooms are extremely overpriced. 700+ for an average looking room

Yeah
The rooms really aren’t that great. Windsor court rooms are much nicer.

Service at four seasons is where they’re supposed to shine and it’s real good but I just don’t think people care.

Used to be the Ritz Carlton. Saw Dirk Nowitzki there once.
