Black people (overwhelmingly) find a way to ruin everything and make daily life more dangerous and chaotic for everyone else.

Usually for the same reasons over and over. Lack of impulse control from perceived disrespect; victimhood mentality; and a general lack of manners.

Give us an example of what you are referring to as racial BS because you're assertion throws shade on the whole board and I absolutely disagree with you about their being Racism on the board.

I don't understand why you punish the players and teams here. If anything, you set a precedent now. Your team is losing, start some fights with opposing fans so the game is called and it's a no contest.

It doesn't sound like any players were involved. Just delay the game and clear the grandstands, then finish the game in an empty stadium.

Don't punish the kids because the spectators can't just watch a football game and cheer on their team.

Officials are responsilbe for the safety of the kids on the field - it's our first and primary resposibility.

Given the propensity for this kind of stuff to keep escalating and spilling onto the field - ABSOLUTELY SHUT IT DOWN.

Then there is the fact for gun shots to start

Games get shut down when there are gun shots within earshot of stadiums now.

I hate it for the kids but another issue if it escalates is getting kids and officials out of the venue safely.

Many officials are starting to refuse to officiate schools or venues that are having repeated problems like this(especially in basketball).

Twice having to be the one to go and tell both teams the game was over(school admins and LEO wanted it shut down, I simply agreed) it sucks especially when they game really mattered or was the last game of the year.

This is a growing nationwide problem.

I get it.

1) it was preseason. Curious what they would do if regular season

2) LHSAA seems like they have had enough of these issues.

Yes most certainly would in a regular season or even playoff game.

Every facet involved with HS sports from BESE, LHSAA, LHSOA, school boards, schools and parents are growing very very weary and leery of this. I bring it up in pre-game PAC meeting(it's a shame but we have to plan for crap like this every game - every venue). I've learned you can't just plan for one egress plan now but an alternate as well.

This was the jamboree. It doesn’t count in the regular season standings
I'll wager it had nothing to do with the game.

Covington High and St. Paul’s stopped their traditional rivalry game for almost 30 years because of the violence associated with the rivalry.

How long ago was this?

That’s been a district game for a while now.
