There were two characters who were portrayed as fools---King George and Thomas Jefferson. Both thoroughly enjoyable performances (King George singing "You'll be Back" to the colonies as if they were a girlfriend breaking up with him was hilarious!!!) but it kind of bothered me seeing Thomas Jefferson being portrayed as a bit of a fool. I know they were political enemies and that is why it was done but it didn't feel right to me.

I'd recommend getting tickets for the resale value. this is like the female version of winning the masters lottery

There was no Washigton City then, and he did not sign the Declaration of Independence.
Nice try.

A musical in NOLA is as worthless as a bar in Salt Lake City.

Hard pass. Not supporting cultural appropriation. Just doesn’t seem politically correct.

Musicals were invented by European ladies to keep them busy while their husbands did the cooking

He was a big part in establishing our financial system right? He was secretary of treasury. And was in the Revolutionary War. Like every man who ever lived, I am sure he wasn't perfect, but I never thought he was a controversial figure.
