If you live in Metairie, you’re probably not very smart.

In Mandeville and woke up to more water than I've ever seen standing in my yard. It's freaking pouring right now.

Why is NOLA so fricking terrible with their pumps? It’s not like this threat was a fricking secret.

it has one of the worst major governments of any city in the Western world

you have to get to central american narco-terror governments to rival the ineptitude and terrible management of Nola

Mitch had more important concerns like removing statues.

I don't disagree, but Southern Louisiana is also one of the largest flood plains in the world.

How much Katrina money did NOLA receive to improve pumping?

People act like flooding happens nowhere else.

NOLA has shitty governance, sure, but EVERY bad thing that possibly happens here is not always because of it. There was a shite ton of rain in a very short time. Came up to cars on my street. All gone on less than 30 minutes.

Had to be at the airport at 5:15am. Interstate getting on at Bonnabel had a solid foot of water on it. All of the damn planes were diverted too

Making my morning coffee run (well car ride not actually a run) and looks like the Audubon Park area has water. St Charles Ave (Tchoupitoulas side) is flooded for a least a few blocks toward the river. Most cars appear to have water on St. Charles.

Yeah just got a text from a friend that Chestnut and Audubon is flooded
