Yeah, it's a lot of fun going out at 5:30 in the morning to wade through knee deep water to move my car up in the driveway.

In Metairie by the lake and we have street flooding. The ole lady’s a doctor and had a shift today. I was planning on going to pick up her Mother’s Day present this morning but now neither one of us are going anywhere. Gonna have to pull a rabbit out of my arse on this one

My shed has about 4” of water in it so now I’m putting on waders to go raise shite.

We went to the shed, got some sandbags and put them down about 45 minutes or so ago to try and help that no more water came in the downstairs. fricking NOLA the 3rd world country of the US.

The pumps definitely aren’t on by mouse in Metairie. Everything where I’m at is gone in about two minutes once they kick in and the water ends up in Pontiff Playground.

Water is probably close to shin deep out in front of my house.

It’s all good. No water in the house. We’re high enough. But my pool house has about an inch or so to give

Also in Metairie, near Lakeview. Damned in-laws are in town, so my new(ish) car is parked on the sidewalk. I need to go investigate if water got in or not.
