unless that's the night before the wedding, I dont know. Never been married or raped someone at a wedding.
Title of the thread:

Night before the wedding
Maybe it happened at 12:01AM the same day as the wedding.

The article worded it weirdly. The link OP provided to the wedding website says the date of the wedding was October 18th. The incident in the article happened on October 17th.
Makes sense in context as he was hanging out with other guys (likely Bachelor Party) when he had the encounter with this lady.

But other than her saying it was rape, what evidence is there that it actually was rape and not just her getting drunk, banging this dude, and then regretting it the next day?
The next court date isn’t until August so we really don’t know what evidence they have.
The article I pulled up about a DNA match based on her exam after it happened suggests there may be some other forensic evidence via a rape kit. Especially when she reported it quickly and was examined pretty soon after.

To be fair, the article OP quoted said "wedding night"
The OP quoted says:
quote:
A man is accused of raping a woman at a central Pennsylvania home on his wedding night.
The key word being "accused".
The way I interpret it, the alleged rape occurred the night before the wedding, but the accusation was not leveled until the night of the wedding.

Well there's no way creepy Zach was going to be faithful, he did the new bride a favor.

Right, but the article quoted was written as if it happened on the actual wedding night. It was either very poorly worded or the author is a retard.

This still doesn't really make sense. He raped one of the guests on his wedding night?
Where was the wife?
Sure it does.
The incident occurred the night before the wedding (the wedding was on the 18th, the incident was on the 17th).
Traditionally the bride and groom are separated the night before the wedding. As in they don't see each other until the wedding. That's usually when a Bachelor/Bachelorette gathering would happen. He sounds like he was together with his friends/family the night before the wedding (very normal) having drinks at the hotel.
