re: Bob Morgan Athletics

It wasn't day camps. It was after-school practice, then "games" on the weekend. Basically, you got told which team you were on Saturday morning when they told you which color jersey to grab.

I played basketball when Gabe Swaggart was there in the 90's. He was amazing and always had the newest Jordans. My Dad thought it was a great program and really believed in Bob's coaching methods. I wasn't as enthusiastic, as none of my school friends were there, and I wasn't the best athlete. I remember Randy, Morgan Morgan, Coach Neil, and a short guy named Jared who always seemed hungover and smelled like beer. They were all great coaches, and were always cool with me. We used to get the best Icees from Jimbos across the street when it was at the church off Cedarcrest. Thanks for the memories. Have never talked to any other Bob Morgan Alums

Wellbutrin can’t be used to get high. She is telling you that so you don’t freak out. It’s more than likely speed or opiates. This is somewhat normal behavior for college. Don’t freak out and push her away. Love her where she is and try to understand

Wouldn’t shock me if 50’s people and many of them are eyeing Shreveport. Downtown’s full of old high-rises just sitting there—low occupancy, easy to grab for the right price. Most need some serious updating, but a few already cash flow decent. Somebody with real money could turn this place around quick.

Boysie Bollinger is having a good day.
What bar did you go to that played MTV Ridiculousness? Maybe the bar in your parents kitchen. Calling BS on this one.

Nobody brought up Nashville, but since we’re on Tennessee, Gibson’s Donuts in Memphis deserves a mention. It’s the closest thing to Mary Lee’s you’ll find.

Mary Lee on Perkins when the lights are flashing. There is nothing left to discuss.

It wasn't a family member; the pilot was an higher up employee who flew himself between Texas and Ruston.
Yea. You dont have season tickets then. It doesnt work that way.

Do the Mormons actually live their faith out better than Christians. There are definitely more Christians than Mormons so maybe it just looks that way.

Ha. Been using that one for years. Smells great!
Same thing happened on my street in a similar neighborhood. You in North Louisiana? We might be neighbors.
No HOA here, so it’s the Wild West. Nobody thinks about the risk—extra traffic, short-term renters partying it up, and construction crews parking like it’s Buc-ee’s on a Saturday. Basically turned a quiet street into a revolving door Airbnb.

Highly recommend getting e-bikes for you and your wife—Trek or another big-name brand is a safe bet. Once you have them, check out cities with good trail systems.
E-bikes seriously change the game. They flatten hills, extend your range, and make longer rides way more enjoyable. As long as you can keep a decent cadence in a low gear, you can climb just about anything without burning out. Totally worth it.

Looks like someone figured out how to use chat gpt. No way OP came up with this on thier own.

I grew up in the Riverbend subdivision off Brightside, riding the levee into downtown and all over LSU’s campus. No idea how many miles I clocked, but it was a lot. Started with a late-’90s Trek 800 Antelope, then upgraded to an aluminum Trek 8000 with early RockShox. I dreamed of being a pro mountain biker—wrong state for that—but I had the climbing bars to power up the levee like a champ.
A year ago, I bought a Trek e-bike as a midlife crisis move. I’ve put over 800 miles on it since and dropped 30 lbs. It feels great to be back in the saddle. The e-bike flattens out the hills where I live now—makes riding possible again, even when I’m not in peak shape.
