This. What was their strategy. To be completely isolated for the next several years. I don’t know what’s worse, their strategy or the fact they’ve been heralded as what we should have done. All they’ve done is kick the can down the road.

Its crazy how much they opened things up. I noticed it Saturday night when they played rugby in front of a full "stadium" (I think some high schools have bigger stadiums than them.) I've been watching Australian footy and they're playing in front of crowds about the size NFL teams are saying would be at capacity. They had a breakout in Victoria so all of the teams (coaches, players, and families) from the state had to be put in a bubble. Not this crap like MLB...they fined a coach for playing tennis with a pro who wasn't in the bubble and a team was fined 15k because one of the wives went out to a salon.

If someone’s pushing contact tracing, I wouldn’t take them seriously.
Contact tracing makes sense when you’re dealing with something like Ebola, or Aids. But not covid.

Funny how every time a positive covid story comes out within days there comes a media article trying to dispute it.
A few weeks ago it was children aren’t as susceptible to it then when talk of schools reopening heated up it was the opposite, how children are actually more susceptible.
