Mayo is dumping results for Louisiana today.

Thanks. So we are still waiting. Makes sense.

They only did 48 tests yesterday.
This is not true at all. My daughter was tested in Mandeville in drive thru and there were many other cars. So statewide had to be 1000’s of tests.

One LA hospital system alone is still waiting for 1800 test results.

Oschner alone is waiting on 2000 test to come back

My friend works on the testing as well at the hospital. she said it’s super hard to find what they are looking for because the material is super small and it takes days to find it. After confirming, then they have to send it up to health department.

Oschners ability to test in house was up and running Friday afternoon

Mayo is re-routing all their outside tests to Quest.

What is promising is the positive results compared to total results keep declining. I think right now we are around 20%...

Pull up

Increased number of tests has resulted in a significant decrease in rate of positives

They’re site still hasn’t received results from any of the test from this week.

Laffy didnt start swabbing until Wednesday at the Cajun Dome. Takes 2-5 days for results. Swabbed over 150 people the 1st day. 1st set of results that came in Friday only listed 20 people. Still a lot of results pending

Most testing centers are 5-10 days from test to results

Quickest result is 48hrs and that swab is $300. The state issued red swab is free to hospitals but has a 5 day turnaround time

They also quit testing the vast majority of people so we won’t truly know.
