They only did 48 tests yesterday.



That is public tests. The total tests do not include private labs.

Actually that is 50 in a little over 12 hours. They are updating at 9:30 and 5:30.

What’s the point of even releasing numbers if they are refusing to test symptomatic people? The numbers are exponentially more than what is being reported.

No they haven’t. They are setting up new testing sites all over the state today and testing at old sites

More people were tested nationally yesterday than any other day. In fact yesterday was double any other day.

Regardless if parishes are running out there’s still more testing being done as a whole in the state and fewer cases are showing up. The trend has to hold probably through Tuesday for me to really to believe it. Even then it’ll pry take another 2 weeks for the threat to really be gone. Then I think the country can open up in waves with less social distancing restrictions in those areas with the fewest cases but still intense measures in places like NOLA for another 2 wks.
