There is nothing about an f type that compares with a corvette. But I sure would love to have an Aston DBS.

Actually, starting at 2015 the Mustangs are great cars. Tons of power, good handling, and a pretty nice interior.

These guys saying the mustangs are terrible and butt ugly must not remember the mid to late 70s mustangs.

The new ones are awesome, as are the new corvettes, power and performance wise.

Being that you’re looking at a 5 year old corvette I would say go with the mustang that is under warranty because you probably can’t afford maintenance on the vette.

ETA I’m not being an OT snob...vettes are really expensive to maintain

Mustang over a C6. You will never use either car to it's potential anyway.

C7 over a Mustang.

Wait, are you saying the mustangs is better? Because it isn't by a long shot. The vette uses composite transverse leafs front and rear which has numerous advantages over coil spring set ups. Far less weight, lower center of gravity, doubles as a anti-rollbar. People hear leaf spring and mistakenly think of truck suspension and a solid axle... not remotely close to the patented technology the vette uses.

If you want to drive slowly through town, get the Corvette.

If you want to crash into a crowd of pedestrians after doing a burnout, go Mustang.

The Vette's suspension is probably always going to be better because it's basically moving closer into supercar territory, but the Mustangs have had four wheel independent suspension since the 2015 model year and magnetorheological adaptive suspension since 2018.

The "fabled" Mustang live axle has been killed and buried.

Apples and Oranges.

One is a muscle car for white trash. It competes with the Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro.

The other is a sports car for middle aged men experiencing a mid life crisis. It competes with Porsches and a bunch of other German and British douchebag mobiles.

Of course I would get the Corvette.

If you don’t live in a trailer, are experiencing a mid life crisis, and are delusional enough to think Ford knows their way around an automobile...the $70,000 Raptor pickup is what the blue oval is aiming towards you. Not the Mustang.

Ford does have a high performance supercar similar to some of the Italian exotics, but they only sell a handful per year.
