Try that in a small town. As In try to enforce that. In a small town. In New Mexico. Because there's a lot of them and New Mexicans outside of Santa Fe and Albuquerque like the 2nd Amendment.

I can imagine SCOTUS will shut this down. I would hope so. It’s a clear violation. Do we just ban everyone from driving because DUIs are going up?

LOL. I love getting a remedy months or years down the road. Don't forget, this is the same USSC that ruled that state legislatures were no longer the source for state election laws, and that state courts could just make shite up.

Idk how to explain my feelings right now
I have been expecting this kind of shite for a long, long time but I am still furiously angry that this action was taken and so shamelessly. The governor knows damn well it doesn't have anything to do with "public health"
Thankfully a court will strike it down with the quickness but it's legal until then and one day maybe whatever court it's left up to won't be so wise then who knows what happens
It won't but one day such a case could end up in front of SCOTUS and give the wrong president the chance to appoint 2-3 justices and we all know what the result would be.....

A Governor can't just suspend a law passed through the Legislator.
